Cheryl R. Treadwell, Attorney

Cheryl’s law practice focuses on litigation, contract and estate matters. Prior to joining KaneTreadwell Law, Cheryl was a litigation associate at Chamberlain, Hrdlicka, White, William & Aughtry. Cheryl also served as in-house counsel for Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International Airport.  In that role, she represented the airport in contract, concessions, procurement and litigation matters as well as public safety matters including weapons, passenger and employee screening and safety initiatives and protocols.

Cheryl’s experience in private practice and government service, allows her to provide a comprehensive approach to her clients’ needs. Her litigation background gives her the ability to anticipate potential risks during negotiations and before clients sign binding agreements. Cheryl advises businesses on contractual issues such as negotiating and drafting vendor, supplier, independent contractor and related agreements. Cheryl routinely counsels clients on day-to-day operational decisions and risk management. In the event of litigation, Cheryl pursues and defends claims on behalf of individuals and businesses in court, mediation or arbitration.

Cheryl holds a law degree from the University of Georgia School of Law and earned her undergraduate degree from the Georgia Institute of Technology. Cheryl is involved in local non-profit and community initiatives that focus on children and their education.
